Dudukush is a magical, the heroine of an Adyghe fairy tale, who personifies wisdom, bird goodness and the power of nature.

The Dudukush bird is a majestic creature with bright, iridescent plumage, reminiscent of the colors of the sunset: from golden and fiery red to deep purple. Its wings are huge and powerful, capable of creating whirlwinds of wind, and its eyes, sparkling like stars, are full of mysteries and ancient wisdom.

Madina Saralp is a fashion designer and owner of a fashion house in Nalchik. Her clients include brides from different regions of the North Caucasus, representatives of foreign diasporas, pop and movie stars and even crowned heads. The designer's name has been associated with ethnic-style clothing for a quarter of a century.


Ruslan Mazlo uses new methods of weaving, stitching, twisting, which give completely different textures and their relationships and change the shape and compositional structure of the traditional mat. The artist never repeats himself, each of his works is unique, imbued with depth and meaning.


WE WERE INSPIRED BY ADYGH FAIRY TALES. As a rule, it is through fairy tales that they are permeated with the deepest symbolism, and are also an inexhaustible source of knowledge and information about all sorts of ancient events.

A ROOF RESTAURANT WITH A VIEW AND LOCAL PRODUCTS

In the very heart of Yaroslavl, on the central square of the city – named after Volkov – the gastronomic project “Birukka” is located right on the roof.

Hence the panoramic windows, and the large open-air terrace, and the view of the first theater in Russia – the Volkov Drama Theater.

In the project, the creators combined secular aesthetics with the cultural code of the city. “Birukka” – this is how the word “bear” sounds in Sanskrit – is one of the symbols of Yaroslavl, like the Volga and the fish it is rich in.

The gastronomic offer includes several dozen European dishes with an emphasis on local and seasonal products. The atmosphere of the project is aesthetics and elegance, and the interior has symbolic references to the city: bears, the Volga and river stones.

WHY WAS THE RESTAURANT CALLED BIRUKKA?

The name of the restaurant fully reflects our concept and is associated with the symbols of the city. Thus, when creating the name and logo, we combined three main symbols: BEAR, FISH AND VOLGA

In Sanskrit, the word bear is pronounced -
BIRUKKA. The Old Slavic word is biryuk, Biruka - bhiruka from the root bir - bhr - bear. Bear - bhallūk

ZiRA GARDEN is a unique space where Eastern traditions meet modern gastronomic approaches.

The name of the restaurant, where "Zira" symbolizes a fragrant spice, and "Garden" is translated as "garden", creates an image of an Eastern garden filled with sophistication and harmony.

When creating the restaurant, we combined traditional dishes of Morocco, Turkey, Iran, Lebanon and Israel with European cooking techniques. The main difference between ZiRA Garden and other restaurants with Eastern cuisine is the approach to creating the menu and atmosphere.

The goal of the Zira Garden restaurant is to become a favorite place that emphasizes the combination of Eastern hospitality and modern gastronomic culture.

This concept fits perfectly in the center of Volgograd as a meeting place where you can have a hearty and tasty breakfast, meet with business partners for lunch or have dinner with your family.
NAME
  • "Zira" as a spice (otherwise, cumin), a popular spice used in the cuisines of the Middle East, Central Asia, India and other regions.

  • "Garden" (garden). The addition of "Garden" in the name speaks of the atmosphere of the restaurant. It is a hint at a cozy place with natural decor, where there is a lot of natural wood, plants, natural handmade materials, and also the use of oriental products and fruits that grow in the garden in dishes.

  • Zira is also a female name that is found in eastern cultures. It has different meanings depending on the language and context:
  • In Arabic, Zira (زيرة) can mean "guest" or "visitor".
  • In Turkic languages, the name Zira is sometimes associated with beauty, grace or natural elements.

NEW CONCEPT
WITH THE MOTHERLAND IN MIND...

It was the Russian artist Ilya Efimovich Repin who inspired us to create a restaurant that opened at the boutique hotel of the same name. Why Repin?

The Russian artist Repin was incredibly diverse. He painted folklore, religious, historical, genre paintings, was known as a remarkable portraitist; he boldly experimented in painting techniques. And yet, his artistic world was completely devoted to one thought, one love - love for Russia
Having studied the biography of the artist Repin, we found out that he was always true to only one idea - to benefit Russia with his work. His love for art also inspired us to create signature dishes, because food as art is one of our postulates.

Another important fact is that during his creative path he visited different parts of the country, including Kuban. Repin had a huge influence on the development of art education in the Cossack region. It was in Kuban that Repin found colorful images of Cossacks, where they later "came down" from his painting into a sculpture that was installed in Krasnodar. However, few people know that Repin's name is associated with Kuban not only because of his famous painting, he had a great influence on the intelligentsia and maintained contact in the future.

Repin's work is truly the "calling card" of Russian realism, which had its big say in the history of world painting. Therefore, by creating the Repin restaurant, we also want to become the "calling card" of the Krasnodar Region, where guests will come specifically for new tastes and local products that they can try only here.
